Picture Time!

Papa came to Grandma & Grandpa L's for picture time, to get everyone captured all dressed up in their holiday attire! Thanks Papa, pictures turned out great! Can't beat the memories on film!

Final Preparations...

Decking the Halls was quite the adventure this year! Riley did want to help some and the bottom 1/3 of the tree was slightly rearranged... she gave the tree a unique, abstract look! These are just a few shots of her assisting!

First Visit w/Santa (& Nakai too!)

O.K., we have a confession... Poor Nakai has had a visit w/Santa for the past few years and we decided this year to take care of business all in one place! Both girls seemed a little disturbed by Santa this year, but all in all I think it went alright! No tears, so we'll chalk it up as successful!

Daddy and Riley at Grandma & Grandpa L.'s Christmas~ Both very excited!

Christmas '08

Riley has had an incredible adventure so far this Christmas, starting off with at Grandma & Grandpa's December 20th. From there, we headed to Aunt Sue's and Uncle Andy's for Christmas, which is always a really nice time! It is great to see everyone. Riley didn't necessarily get what was going on, but I do think she enjoyed the part at the end where Great Grandpa "prayed for presents" upon Taylyn's request! Great Grandma's gift exchange went over really well also! We could really have used an autographed picture of Rob though!

We started the trend a few years ago to go to Mom & Dad Louderman's the week before Christmas, stay home for Christmas, and the week after, go to Mom & Dad Wade's. So far that has worked out great! We get the best of everyone and everything as far as time with everyone!

Staying home this year was incredible to say the least! Riley began walking, literally overnight!!! She took a few steps then off she went! Who knew it happens so fast!!!! So, thanks Santa for a little lady with wheels! She's off, and there seems to be no stopping her! Many more bruises than we had before though! Already! Ouch! Her first serious steps ended with a war wound which landed right above her upper lip. She is recovering well though! Santa brought her some musical instruments, so she can keep the beat for her Daddy.

This upcoming weekend takes us to our final Christmas adventure at Gigi & Papa's house! Very excited! We haven't met our newest family member, Gwyn, yet and Riley really likes small people!

And here is Chad's version......

um, Christmas was neat.

Third time's a charm!

We have made several attempts, and I say we, and as most have noticed, haven't gotten far off the ground! Actually, we had been counting on Beth to keep everyone in the loop! Thanks Beth! We'll see if we can make it happen this time!
